Most are forms of the garden hybrid P. x fraseri, with glossy dark green adult foliage, and variable red tinted young leaves, especially as they just unfold. 'Red Robin' is one, a choice form with eye-catching juvenile growth the colour of sealing wax, similar to a pieris. This is sometimes caught by late spring frosts, and some shelter is advisable. Plants enjoy a sunny or partially shaded position in moist but well-drained soil.
I ordered a number of plants including red robin photinia, and a selection of bare root plants. The hedging plants arrived quickly and were well packed. They are all planted in and can't believe they are growing already, although the rabbits have taken quite a liking to them! The bare roots have not been planted as only arrived recently. They look healthy and can't wait to add them to my border. I would recommend the company.
There’s more than one ‘Red Robin’ enhanceing my garden.

Superb service, superb plants
Amazing company. The service from start to finish was top class. Plants are strong and healthy, ordered 25 got 29 and at the price they are a bargain, with free delivery to Scotland in 4 days. Totally brilliant.
Great service Great Plants
A very good website, excellent delivery with well packed plants. Planted the hedge same day after a good soaking. Well established and florishing after a week. I believe it important to well water before and after planting, I then apply a good straw mulch and leave the plants to get on with it. I will use this company again and recommend it
