Shirotae is a small, spreading deciduous tree with a spreading, flat crown and lovely green young foliage contrasting with fragrant, pure white, semi-double flowers 5cm in width; orange and red autumn colour.
As with all trees from the prunus family, the leaves will start to appear autumnal and slightly shabby from mid-June onwards. This is not a disease, it is just a growth cycle with this type of tree.

Bought five trees which arrived promptly as described, looking healthy, undamaged and with decent moist root systems.
Arrived in good time and we’re well packed, I planted them the same day, and am waiting for spring to arrive and see how they grow. .?
