This well-loved evergreen shrub from Mexico enjoys warm conditions and has beautiful and fragrant star-shaped white flowers.
In mild gardens it will reach full size in the open, but elsewhere plants benefit if sheltered from the cold winds that can damage the foliage and restrict growth - a warm wall is ideal, or plants may be grown in containers that can be moved under cover in winter.
