Physocarpus opulifolius 'Diabolo' / Ninebark Diabolo in 2L Pot

 

'Diabolo' is a deciduous shrub with deep purple, three-lobed leaves and clusters of small white, pink-tinged flowers in summer.

 

Physocarpus are bushy deciduous suckering shrubs with palmately lobed leaves and corymbs of small cream flowers in early summer, followed by small, bladdery brown fruits.

    My plant arrived on time & I was very impressed with the shrub and especially the packaging. The plant was covered in straw & in a good size box, so no broken stems. I will certainly use this company again. The shrub was very healthy.

    Only ordered Friday afternoon, but arrived Monday morning, and planted that afternoon--brilliant service. Not only were the plants cheaper than from other nurseries, they were in beautiful condition and very carefully packaged on straw, no plastic or polystyrene. I will definitely use Beechwood again.

    I am extremely happy with the Physocarpus Diablo that I purchased. It arrived in perfect condition, potted and packed very carefully in straw inside a strong cardboard box. It’s now in position in my garden and looking very healthy.
