Product Description

10 Cherry Laurel / Prunus Laurocerasus Rotundifolia in 10cm Pots

 

 

A vigorous evergreen shrub with oval-shaped bright shiny green leaves.It forms a dense hedge of any height on most soils but not shallow chalk and will give up to 60cm growth each year.

If not clipped the plants will reach 4 metres. Widely planted as an ornamental plant in temperate regions worldwide, and has become naturalised widely in some areas. It is often used for screening, and also as a mass landscape and ground cover plant. Most forms are tough shrubs that can cope with difficult growing conditions (including shaded and dry conditions), and which respond well to pruning. The foliage is also used for cut greenery in floristry.

For the care of the Cherry Laurel, we recommend to keep the foliage moist throughout the cold and windy weather - this will keep the plant hydrated.

    I waited a few weeks before I left a review. I purchased 10 cherry laurel plants all arrived quickly and very well packaged. We planted them immediately and 3 weeks on they are growing really well. New shoots on all plants, so happy I ordered another 10. Great seller, great plants.

    I very happy with my purchase of cherry laurel (x10). They arrived quicker than expected, well packaged (box packed with straw so there was no leaking/mess, all were in tact and ready for planting). I would definitely purchase again from this company and have no problem recommending if anyone asked.

    These Cherry Laurel Evergreen Hedging plants were the second part of an order along with a Rowan tree, they were all safely packed together in a box stuffed with straw, all arrived in perfect undamaged condition, the Laurel plants look really strong and as described 35-45cm but were much closer to 60cm, they have a good root structure I have potted them on as they are replacement plants for a mature hedge (mixed plants) which I can now standardized as all laurel, so they will stay in pots until I dig out the old hedge, I am really impressed with Beechwood Nurseries , their website is easy to use the whole exercise took only three days from order to delivery (1hour time slot delivery) all worth 10 stars. MJS
