 10 Christmas Berry / Photinia fraseri 'Red Robin' 40-60cm Tall

 

Photinia, or Christmas berry, is a genus of Asian and North American shrubs, which includes a group of evergreen hybrids grown specifically for their colourful young foliage.

 

Most are forms of the garden hybrid P. x fraseri, with glossy dark green adult foliage, and variable red tinted young leaves, especially as they just unfold. 'Red Robin' is one, a choice form with eye-catching juvenile growth the colour of sealing wax, similar to a pieris. This is sometimes caught by late spring frosts, and some shelter is advisable. Plants enjoy a sunny or partially shaded position in moist but well-drained soil.

    From Northern Ireland to Surrey England in really quick time. Really pleased, all planted and look strong. Great price would really recommend. Make sure you're in when delivered I don't know how long they would last left in the box.

    Happy with my hedge

    To screen off the bin area I bought 10 photinia red robin. Great value for money. I also bought a replacement wisteria as mine was cut down when a neighbour's fence was replaced. Hedging plants are quite small but appear to be doing well. The wisteria is now recovering from being left upside down by the delivery driver on the back doorstep.

    Never seen Red Robin Photinia look so healthy

    Unfortunately our red robin photinia have suffered due to cold winter so need to replace some and looked on website and found 10 red robin photinia for an exceptionally good price. I also looked at feedback left by other customers and it is absolutely spot on. 10 red robin photinia arrived, looking so healthy and bushy even though they are quite small. They were packaged so well, no damage and waiting to plant them. They look so well cared for and amazing. They are growing already.
