100 Griselinia Evergreen Hedging Plants 50-70cm, Fast Growing New Zealand Laurel

 

Griselinia's are evergreen shrubs and trees from New Zealand, only fully hardy in mild seaside gardens, where they can reach 8m (26ft)

 

This handsome plant has dense foliage, a little less hardy than the species and liable to revert to all-green shoots which should be cut out whenever seen. Inland it is best grown against a warm sheltered wall and covered with fleece for winter protection when temperatures drop below -5C (23F).

    Good quality hedging plants

    I ordered 100 plants on-line on Thursday and they arrived the following Monday. What good service that was. Very sturdy packaging but was disappointed that, although they were packed 25 to a box, the plants had been pushed down firmly on top of each other which had broken side branches off at least six plants and two had growing points broken off. However I have used these as cuttings so I am hoping they will take to give me spare plants. They are planted and look very good, our gardener was very pleased with them and I would recommend this firm.

    Excellent value - fast and well packed

    Much taller (40 - 60 cm) and stronger than we were expecting. Good because they are well developed but bit of a worry as a bit spindly and may have problems in strong wind for the next few week. Excellent value, fast delivery (2days). 100 plants in near perfect condition packed surrounded by straw in 4 long boxes and looking like 100% survival rate when planted 2 day later. All Good :)
