15-20cm Tall In 9cm Pots
This easy to grow evergreen shrub has many uses in the garden, from a free-standing specimen to hedging, where its thorny stems help to deter intruders.
Small creamy white flowers appear in early summer, followed by masses of bright orange-red berries. Grow in a sunny or partially shaded spot in well-drained soil. Trim hedging from early to mid-summer. Wall-trained shrubs should be cut back after flowering in mid-summer. Shorten lateral shoots to two to three leaves from the base to expose the developing berries.
