Product Description

25 Cherry Laurel / Prunus Laurocerasus Rotundifolia in 10cm Pots

 

A vigorous evergreen shrub with oval-shaped bright shiny green leaves.It forms a dense hedge of any height on most soils but not shallow chalk and will give up to 60cm growth each year.

If not clipped the plants will reach 4 metres. Widely planted as an ornamental plant in temperate regions worldwide, and has become naturalised widely in some areas. It is often used for screening, and also as a mass landscape and ground cover plant. Most forms are tough shrubs that can cope with difficult growing conditions (including shaded and dry conditions), and which respond well to pruning. The foliage is also used for cut greenery in floristry.

For the care of the Cherry Laurel, we recommend to keep the foliage moist throughout the cold and windy weather - this will keep the plant hydrated.

    Delivery was very quick and the plants are all very robust, have set 8 in very difficult positions to try to thicken the boundary. Very pleased with the plants packed very well root ball very tight

    strong outer packaging, inside..straw on bottom and packing paper. then plants but no straw etc on top, resulted in most of the compost from the plant pots being deposited on the bottom of the box Good healthy plants strong root system..all doing well after potting on

    Good plants but a little damaged in transit.I ve planted them anyway as they were moist on opening and will probably survive.

    Having used this company in the past I had no hesitation in reordering. Order placed Tuesday and I had 25 laurels planted by 10.30 am on Thursday. Plants were in good condition despite the delivery service passing the box to me “on its end”.

    Ordered 25 30cm Laurels which came well packaged, no damages! All were good quality, actually larger than what I was expecting. Highly recommend and I would definately order from them again.

    All 25 plants arrived with potted roots, still damp with straw in small box I found hard to believe contained 25 plants. They all looked fairly healthy and are clearly established as have taken root straight away - I planted them the same day. One plant only had a single leaf, I think due to slight damage in the box, but seems to be doing well! Most were about 10" - 12" tall but think will grow quite quickly.
