These are BARE ROOTED plants which can be planted from the end of October until April and will be dispatched as soon as the weather turns cold and they become dormant.The dispatch date depends on the Autumn temperature and varies from year to year.
This deciduous, spiny shrub is an excellent choice for a natural, informal hedge. It provides interest throughout the year and makes a good barrier against livestock.
Leaves are green in Summer with beautiful white flowers in spring which turn to black Sloe berries in late summer providing the birds with lots of food over the winter.An excellent stock,pet,vandal and burglar proof hedge/fence.The hedge can be trimmed into any shape or size and will tolerate most conditions including shade and exposed areas.
