30 Griselinia Evergreen Hedging Plants 50-70cm, Fast Growing New Zealand Laurel

 

Griselinias are evergreen shrubs and trees from New Zealand, only fully hardy in mild seaside gardens, where they can reach 8m (26ft)

This handsome plant has dense foliage, a little less hardy than the species and liable to revert to all-green shoots which should be cut out whenever seen. Inland it is best grown against a warm sheltered wall and covered with fleece for winter protection when temperatures drop below -5C (23F).

    We were surprised at first, by how they arrived. "Surely you can't get 30 Griselinia's in there?" we said to one another. One by one we took them out of their cardboard box, giggling a little, low and behold 30 beautifully healthy, intact Griselinia's. We planted them straight away and spent the next hour or so staring at them. Thanks! Service was excellent from start to finish. We look forward to our next purchase.
