Callistemon are species of shrubs unique to Australia and are commonly referred to as bottlebrushes because of their cylindrical, brush like flowers resembling a traditional bottle brush. It can be propagated either by cuttings or from the seeds.
Splendens is a medium sized evergreen shrub with narrow stiff leaves that produce bright crimson coloured spikes 15cm in length.
