Product Description
1 Common Lilac / Syringa Vulgaris 40-60cm
These are BARE ROOTED plants which can be planted from the end of October until April and will be dispatched as soon as the weather turns cold and they become dormant. The dispatch date depends on the Autumn temperature and varies from year to year.
This is the wild species of Lilac which is a deciduous shrub that grows into a bushy thicket with green heart-shaped leaves. The light blue-purple flowers are very sweet-smelling in early summer.
It is particularly noted for its mid to late spring (May) bloom of very fragrant, tubular, 4-lobed flowers which bloom in large conical to narrow-pyramidal panicles.
