'Red Heart' is an evergreen palm-like tree with bright green sword-like leaves and a red flushing core that forms the 'red heart'. When the plant is mature, trusses of white flowers form in Summer.
C. australis is an evergreen tree with several stout branches arising from a single trunk. Leaves long, sword-shaped, in dense clusters at the branch tips.
