Product Description

Dwarf Apricot tree 'Bergeron' / Prunus armeniaca 'Bergeron' Ready to Fruit

These are BARE ROOTED plants which can be planted from the end of October until April and will be dispatched as soon as the weather turns cold and they become dormant. The dispatch date depends on the Autumn temperature and varies from year to year.

The apricot tree is a highly sought after fruit tree because of its small orange fruits that have such a sweet and tasty flesh. The pink or white flowers appear before the leaves

The fruits of the ‘Bergeron’ apricot tree are ready to pick between mid July and mid August. They are large, yellow orange in colour and have a firm scented flesh. They are ideal to eat straight away or to be used in tarts, jams or preserves.

As with all trees from the prunus family, the leaves will start to appear autumnal and slightly shabby with holes,  from mid-June onwards. This is not a disease, it is just a growth cycle with this type of tree.
