Product Description

Dwarf Patio Spartan Apple Tree, Self-fertile,Refreshing & Sweet

These are BARE ROOTED plants which can be planted from the end of October until April and will be dispatched as soon as the weather turns cold and they become dormant. The dispatch date depends on the Autumn temperature and varies from year to year.

The Spartan apple variety has a lot going for it. For starters the apples are on the small size, great for kids. The appearance is exactly how you imagine a juicy apple looks. The base of yellow is almost entirely covered by bright red.

Spartan is a deep marroon-coloured apple with an excellent refreshing sweet flavour. Apple text books often describe the flavour as "vinous" and it can indeed have a wine-like quality, although this is first and foremost a crisp sweet juicy unpretentious apple.

Pollination:

It is partially self-fertile.

For better fruiting plant a compatible partner:

Beauty of Bath, Braeburn, Charles Ross, Cornish Aromatic, Discovery, Egremont Russet, Elstar, Fiesta, Gala, Golden Delicious, Granny Smith, Greensleeves, Grenadier, Howgate Wonder, Idared, Irish Peach, James Grieve, Katy, Laxton's Superb, Lord Lambourne, Malus Evereste, Malus John Downie, Malus John Downie, Red Devil, Reverend W. Wilks, Worcester Pearmain
