With its alluring spruce-blue foliage, this is a novel variety of the native Idaho fescue. Festuca 'Siskiyou Blue' has a softer, more elegant appearance due to its thin, considerably longer leaves compared to the more common Festuca glauca. It produces the tall, straight, tan flower spikes that are characteristic of Festuca grass when it blooms in late April.
