Product Description
'Guinee' Fragrant Climbing Rose, Dark Red Fully Double Velvety Blooms
Strong 2yr Branched Bare Root Plant
These are BARE ROOTED plants which can be planted from the end of October to April and will be dispatched as soon as the weather turns cold and they become dormant. The dispatch date depends on the Autumn temperature and varies from year to year.
Dark red velvety blooms that are almost black in bud, the inner petals can pale to scarlet. Best against a lighter background colour to really show off their colouring.
Being the richest and darkest of the crimson climbers, the Guinee produces beautiful roses on a long stem which stand out against the green leaves. This vigorous, repeat-flowering, climbing rose is perfect for an open, sunny site with fertile, moist, well-drained soil.
