Himalayan Honeysuckle / Leycesteria formosa in 2L Pot

 

Leycesteria formosa is a vigorous deciduous shrub with erect sea-green stems bearing long-pointed, ovate leaves and pendulous racemes of white flowers with showy red-purple bracts, followed by deep purple berries.

 

Leycesteria are deciduous shrubs with hollow stems, simple leaves and terminal and axillary racemes of tubular flowers, followed by fleshy berries. Easily grown in any garden, but especially good for woodland gardens in sun or partial shade.

    The plant arrived well packed and in good order. Repotted within a day or two and immediately began flowering. Looking to replant into a border and propagate with cuttings to hide fencing etc. Happy customer.

    Missed the 1st delivery, but when it arrived next dayit was in good condition. Well wrapped in straw and secured pot. Best delivery of plants i have ever received. Would purchase from you again and would recommend you

    Healthy Shrub.

    Arrived in suitable box, straw was packed around my shrub for protection. As described. Fast service and good price. Tips of leaves were little dry, so would I be if id travelled across the sea without a drink! Stood in water for few hours then planted out. Few days passed now, and showing new growth and looking much healthier.
