Katy Apple tree / Malus Katy 4-5ft tall

 

These are BARE ROOTED plants which can be planted from the end of October until May and will be dispatched as soon as the weather turns cold and they become dormant.The dispatch date depends on the Autumn temperature and varies from year to year.

 

Katy is an easy-going early-season apple. The pretty colouring and juicy flavour make it popular with children.

 

'Katy' is one of our best selling eating apples, it's a cross between the popular parent varieties 'James Grieve' and 'Worcester Pearmain'. The apple is a vibrant red in colour and sweet and juicy in flavour with slight hints of strawberry and plenty of acidity. It's best eaten as soon as possible after it's picked.

    Bought as present. Friend sent photo of wrapped tree on arrival. Haven't heard about the tree yet but the packaging looked excellent and it arrived as quickly as anything could have. The packets even put a message on the box for me. Thank you.

    As always the tree supplied was in good condition, however I was surprised at the packaging used being tied with string and just wrapped in polythene. I have had similar products boxed to protect during transport. As yet I cannot give a full review until it has started growing and producing
