 Laurus nobilis / Bay tree in 2L Pot, Cooking Bay Leaf Tree, Bayleaf Plant


L. nobilis is a large, erect evergreen shrub with aromatic, narrowly ovate, leathery leaves useful in cooking. Flowers small, pale greenish-yellow, in dense clusters; fruit oval, glossy black when ripe.
 
 
Laurus are dioecious evergreen trees or large shrubs, with leathery aromatic leaves, and small yellow flowers followed on female plants by black berries.

    I ordered 25 of these last July. I received 5 extra which was good. When they came they were moist and well packaged. They started as tiny sticks last July and now they are over 3ft tall and starting to grow outwards. Lovely vibrant colour of leaves and clearly very healthy,

    I got my bay tree within 2 days of order and in tip top condition. Ive never bought anything like this over the internet before, but will definitely do it again. The only negative is that the Royal Mail postman didn't knock (and we were in) but he just dropped it in our recycling bin.
