North China is the original home of the hardy perennial Ligularia przewalskii. It is cultivated for the long, lobed, yellow flower stalks that emerge from mid- to late-summer, on long black stems. It attracts pollinators very well and is ideal for planting towards the back of an ornamental border.
Ligularia przewalskii should be grown in wet soil in a protected sunny location.
