Fig 'Little Miss Figgy' has a tidy compact habit reaching only 1.8m tall. The big, deeply lobed leaves make a lovely decorative accent for a large patio planter or protected border.
The fruits of 'Little Miss Figgy' are borne in profusion along the branches in both spring and summer with each smooth-skinned burgundy-coloured fig has sweet, juicy flesh.
It is ideal for British gardens, coping well with -15°C.
If being grown for the fruit, then you will need to pot it to restrict the roots and grow it on a patio or you could sink the pot into the ground.
Little Miss Figgy needs to be pruned when there is no chance of a further frost, in spring. Remove any damaged or weaker branches and thin out to let sunlight in.
