Magnolia Stellata Rosea in 9cm Pot, Pink Star Shaped Flowers
Magnolia stellata 'Rosea' is a magnificent little Magnolia bush that bears a profusion of fragrant, star-shaped flowers that can have up to thirty petals apiece. In spring (March–April), pink buds open, giving way to lovely pale pink blooms that eventually fade to white. For added interest, the glossy, bright-green leaves can take on bronze tones throughout the summer.
'Rosea' is a particularly compact, bushy Magnolia that will only reach a size of 2 x 2 meters in 20 years. It's a great option for container gardening as well as tiny gardens. For this pink Starry Magnolia, shade or partial shade, well-drained soil is essential. It also has to be in a sheltered spot.
