Plum 'Mirabelle de Nancy' 5-6ft Tall, Self-fertile Incredibly Sweet Honey

These are BARE ROOTED plants which can be planted from the end of October until April and will be dispatched as soon as the weather turns cold and they become dormant. The dispatch date depends on the Autumn temperature and varies from year to year.

Plum 'Mirabelle de Nancy' is a vigorous, upright variety producing heavy crops of classic, yellow, small French plums from September. The incredibly sweet, stone free fruits ripen from white to honey yellow and are excellent eaten fresh or cooked.Self-fertile,but another partner tree will increase yields.

Produces a heavy crop which often needs to be thinned if fruits are to be produced each year. Left to its own devices the sheer weight of fruit may well break the branches of the tree.Harvest between Mid-August to late September.

As with all trees from the prunus family, the leaves will start to appear autumnal and slightly shabby from mid June onwards. This is not a disease, but is mainly due to this years contrasting weather conditions and will not affect the performance of the tree.

Pollination:

It is partially self-fertile

fruiting will usually be improved if there is a compatible partner:
