Plants 40-60cm Bare-Rooted

These are BARE ROOTED plants which can be planted from the end of October 2017 - May 2018 and will be dispatched as soon as the weather turns cold and they become dormant. The dispatch date depends on the Autumn temperature and varies from year to year.

A native wild tree producing beautiful sweet smelling blossom in spring followed by tart apples in autumn. These can be used to make jelly or cider.

This beautiful crab apple is covered with white flowers in spring. The flowers open from red buds. In autumn, it gives another show. At this time, the tree is covered in red-flushed, orange- yellow fruits. It is an excellent tree for smaller gardens and it has a pleasant conical shape.

The plants have been grown in the nursery for 2 years(1+1) and will have an excellent root system ready for planting.

    Great quality

Posted by Rachel Gray on 7th Apr 2018

I have been hugely impressed by the quality of the trees and plants that I have purchased. They are extremely good value and are of the best quality that I have seen in a long time. I have already recommended Beechwood trees to my friends and really can not praise them highly enough.
