Japanese maples are small, deciduous trees grown for their graceful habit, autumn colour and beautiful foliage which may be coloured or deeply dissected.

 

A beautifully shaped tree with small purple-red flowers in spring and purple leaves which turn brilliant red in autumn. Best in a sheltered spot protected from the wind.

    I love this little tree. . Easy to grow & adds colour to the garden all year. Delivery was very fast and my tree was well protected in its packaging. .

    Seems a good plant which seems to have travelled OK

    The headline says it all - too early to know how well it will grow but it seems OK. But a suggestion - the plant arrived well secured in its box, but there was nothing on the box suggesting that it should be transported upright and as a consequence arrived horizontal (fortunately not upside down) with some of the soil/compost scattered in the box.
