20 Christmas Berry / Photinia fraseri 'Red Robin' 25-30cm Tall in 9cm pots

 

Photinia, or Christmas berry, is a genus of Asian and North American shrubs, which includes a group of evergreen hybrids grown specifically for their colourful young foliage.

 

Most are forms of the garden hybrid P. x fraseri, with glossy dark green adult foliage, and variable red tinted young leaves, especially as they just unfold. 'Red Robin' is one, a choice form with eye-catching juvenile growth the colour of sealing wax, similar to a pieris. This is sometimes caught by late spring frosts, and some shelter is advisable. Plants enjoy a sunny or partially shaded position in moist but well-drained soil.

    I ordered 20 plants and received 22, they arrived in a large box packed in straw. the plants are about 2 feet tall healthy and with a good rootball. They will make a Fantastic hedge at the top of my front garden and will create a fantastic display when they get larger. Highly Recommend these shrubs to anyone

    I ordered 20 plants, only 1 didn't survive as the stem had came out of the pot but luckily it was a spare. Great service, quick delivery, packaged well, plants look very healthy and price was really good too! I'm not much of a gardener so I was quite surprised how small they were, but my mother has told me they look great and will do the job perfectly! Would definitely order from here again, so glad I came across this website!
