Product Description

'Rhapsody in Blue' Fragrant Floribunda Rose Of The Year, Fantastic Scent & Bloom

These are BARE ROOTED plants which can be planted from the end of October - April and will be dispatched as soon as the weather turns cold and they become dormant. The dispatch date depends on the Autumn temperature and varies from year to year.

'Rhapsody In Blue' was named Rose of the Year in 2003 and it's easy to see why; abundant semi-double blue-purple flowers are held above leathery light-green leaves, but it's the scent which first grabs the attention. The fragrance fills the air right through summer into autumn. As a floribunda rose, it should be pruned from late winter to early spring. Cut back the main stems to 25-45cm (10-18in) above the ground pruning to just above an outward-facing bud. Reduce side shoots to two or three buds. Remove any spindly or diseased growth.

Rhapsody in Blue is a sweetly fragrant bushy shrub rose with light green leaves and cupped, semi-double purplish-blue flowers fading to a slate-blue.

    Excellent service

Rose arrived before expected. Excellent instructions on what to do once I had received the rose. I only had one problem which was not your fault at all. My garden is solid clay and it took me two hours to dig a hole deep enough to follow the instructions!
