Blue holly (Ilex × meserveae) is an attractive, upright evergreen shrub that adds a touch of elegance to any garden. With its striking glossy, dark bluish-green leaves and purplish stems, it stands tall at heights of 3 to 4 meters. This plant boasts spiny, leathery foliage and small white flowers that bloom in spring, followed by the charming spectacle of bright red berries in winter, produced by the female plants.
