 These are BARE ROOTED plants which can be planted from the end of October until April and will be dispatched as soon as the weather turns cold and they become dormant.The dispatch date depends on the Autumn temperature and varies from year to year.


Elstar is a successful offspring of Golden Delicious, developed in the Netherlands in the 1950s.This easy-eating dessert apple has a distinctive colour of golden yellow but overlaid with deep red.

Elstar is definitely a crunchy apple, but not as crisp or hard as some - definitely the softer side of crunchy. The flesh is lemon-white.The trees will grow in a wide variety of soil types, but prefers full sun.It is cropped between October and January.The tree is self sterile so it needs to be planted with other varieties.
