Product Description
Salvia Amistad in 1.5-2L Pot, Bee Friendly, Purple Flowers, Black Calyces
This award-winning perennial is distinguished by its extended flowering season, characterised by striking deep purple, tubular blooms set against near-black calyces and stems, persisting from early summer until the first frost.
Salvia 'Amistad' exhibits a bushy, upright growth habit, featuring aromatic, bright green, slightly pubescent foliage that serves as an excellent contrast to its vibrant blossoms. Highly attractive to bees and butterflies, this cultivar is a superior choice for pollinator-friendly landscapes, ornamental borders, and patio containers.
For optimal performance, it should be cultivated in well-drained soil with full sun exposure. Maintenance is minimal, requiring only periodic deadheading to encourage continuous bloom.
