Product Description

10 Crab Apple / Malus Sylvestris - Plants 40-60cm Bare-Rooted

These are BARE ROOTED plants which can be planted from the end of October until April and will be dispatched as soon as the weather turns cold and they become dormant. The dispatch date depends on the Autumn temperature and varies from year to year.

A native wild tree producing beautiful sweet smelling blossom in spring followed by tart apples in autumn. These can be used to make jelly or cider.

This beautiful crab apple is covered with white flowers in spring. The flowers open from red buds. In autumn, it gives another show. At this time, the tree is covered in red-flushed, orange- yellow fruits. It is an excellent tree for smaller gardens and it has a pleasant conical shape.

The plants have been grown in the nursery for 2 years(1+1) and will have an excellent root system ready for planting.

Very healthy looking plants..I have planted them in large pots before planting them into my son's new garden. It has been a very wet season and I want to drain the area they will eventually be planted in
