To keep the size of the plant in check and to encourage the most colourful bark, remove a third of the stems back to ground level each spring. It may also be mixed with the green variety Cornus Sanguinea to provide 2 colours. Plant as a single shrub or as a hedge 30-60cm apart.

Arrived safe and sound, they look to be in great condition apart from a couple that doesn't have as good a root system, I will know when I've planted them.
If they grow as they should they will produce a superb hedge, the ground is a bit wet yet.
Ordered these on the basis of plants for a £ each have got to be good value and was amazed to receive exceptionally robust, well grown plants that would retail at 3x the price elsewhere - I will be back and will recommend to my customers . . .
