25 Wild Rose - Rosa Rugosa 30-50cm Bare-Rooted
These are BARE ROOTED plants which can be planted from the end of October until April and will be dispatched as soon as the weather turns cold and they become dormant.The dispatch date depends on the Autumn temperature and varies from year to year.
This is an excellent thorny dense hedge to keep out burglars and animals.The rose hips can be used to make syrup,wine or jelly and are approx 30-40mm wide.The hedge will grow very quickly up to about 6-8ft,(1.8-2.2m).
It will flower the first year with Red flowers which turn to hips and can be severely cut back at any time to re-grow. The flowers can last from May to late September and will be covered in wildlife.It will tolerate most conditions including shade and exposed areas.
