These are BARE ROOTED plants which can be planted from the end of October until April and will be dispatched as soon as the weather turns cold and they become dormant.The dispatch date depends on the Autumn temperature and varies from year to year.


Scots Pine is a natural native evergreen that has been around since the last iceage.Plant as a wind break in a row or in clumps.The plants can tolerate most conditions including shade and very exposed areas.

an evergreen coniferous tree growing up to 25 m in height and 1 m trunk diameter when mature, exceptionally to 35-45 m tall and 1.7 m trunk diameter and on very productive sites. The bark is thick, scaly dark grey-brown on the lower trunk, and thin, flaky and orange on the upper trunk and branches. The habit of the mature tree is distinctive due to its long, bare and straight trunk topped by a rounded or flat-topped mass of foliage. The lifespan is normally 150–300 years.

    I ordered 5 Scots' pine trees, some of which were taller than advertised. Fantastic value at £3.40 per tree.

    Good quick delivery, well packed.
    Planted on arrival. Two of the five were small, only just over a foot high, but had good root growth so were accepted and have been planted.
