Good evergreen hedging

 

'Gelderland' is a fast-growing, evergreen, coniferous tree that has mid-green, neat, aromatic foliage that is tinged bronze in winter.

 

These Thuja plicata 'Gelderland' also known as 'Western Red Cedar' are ideal for hedging and have olive green foliage which turns more of a bronze in winter. Thuja have a nice fragrance when crushed or cut and shoot from old wood.

    The trees arrived very quickly & by Royal Mail so they had not dried out by being in the packaging too long. The packaging was excellent. The trees had incredibly substantial roots & were lovely & green. This is my 2nd purchase of Western Red Cedar for a hedge in a very windy position & the trees have been very good quality on both occasions.

    Good size plants - well packaged

    Took a gamble after reading some bad reviews but pleasantly surprised. Got some similar priced plants from another supplier and they are half the size. Bought quite a few so they filled the box and were delivered very quickly so managed to get them straight out in the garden. Only time will tell whether they take and how quick they grow - but first impressions very good. Will be buying more...
