The most reliable fig for the UK climate which, from late August to mid-September, produces a heavy crop of purple-brown fruits with sweet red flesh.
 
 
Figs are native trees of Syria and Persia, and have been grown in Britain since Roman times. Only a few varieties are hardy enough for outdoor cultivation on warm walls, where they survive most winters unscathed - very hard prolonged frosts may kill all the top growth, but plants revive from below ground.

    The Fig Tree

    It arrived very quickly, and we'll packed, and as stated, a few purple Figs are on there way :o) Two days after it arrived a few leaves fell off, and some turned a little brown however, new shoots are on there way, so hopefully it will be okay. I am very happy with the tree.

    Exactly as advertised. Well packaged and arrived in excellent condition. I did expect instructions on how to repot. With what kind of soil etc. But when I e-mailed them they did reply and were very helpful and told me what to do. Very Very pleased and will recommend them and already thinking of ordering other fruit trees from them.

    Tree arrived superbly packaged and in excellent condition. Was bigger than expected. However, growing instructions would have been appreciated. Other than that excellent product
