'Ludwig Spaeth' Syringa Vulgaris-Branched Lilac Tree 40-60cm Shrub in a 2L Pot
It is noted for its dark purple-red flowers which bloom on inflorescences that are longer (to 12” long) and narrower than those found on the species and most cultivars. Flowers bloom late May to early June (later than the bloom on species shrubs), thus helping extend the length of the lilac bloom season.
This bushy deciduous shrub is best known for its heart shaped leaves and compact trusses of fragrant flowers. Flowers in late spring to early summer.
