European Spindle Tree / Euonymus Europaeus

4-5ft Tall in a 6L Pot

 

Leaves are green in Summer and in the Autumn 4 lobed dark red fruits with orange seeds appear.Max height & spread 10ft/3m.Grow in any fertile soil especially chalk.Great for a native hedge or wood.

 

Also known as 'Spindle' or 'Spindleberry' (as the wood was used to make these essential items) this shrub brightens up the hedgerows in the countryside around me in SE UK in the autumn with its shocking pink berries that split to reveal the bright orange seeds inside.

    The tree arrived very well wrapped up in straw and in a well-designed and sturdy box. The tree was in good condition and its pot was still very moist. I’m very pleased with the tree and have planted it. Much looking forward to its autumn display.

    I bought this tree for my son for his birthday. He said it has arrived in very good order, and was very well packed. It's in the garden drinking in the rain! Many thanks for providing such a good plant and making it so easy to dispatch to someone else.
