Stella Cherry Tree 4-5ft Tall Self-Fertile & Ready to Fruit, Dark Red, Very Tasty
These are BARE ROOTED plants which can be planted from the end of October until April and will be dispatched as soon as the weather turns cold and they become dormant. The dispatch date depends on the Autumn temperature and varies from year to year.
A exceptional self fertile variety of Cherry bearing dark red fruit and ready for a late June harvest.
Common Name: Stella
Skill Level: Beginner
Exposure: Full sun
Soil type: Well-drained/light, Clay/heavy, Moist
Rootstock: COLT, 4-5M
A vigorous grower, starting with an upright habit, spreading as it matures. An early and prolific cropper that also makes a good pollinator for other cherries.Grows well in deep, moist but well drained soil and in full sun, this cherry is very productive when grown in a sheltered situation.
As with all trees from the prunus family, the leaves will start to appear autumnal and slightly shabby from mid June onwards. This is not a disease, but is mainly due to this years contrasting weather conditions and will not affect the performance of the tree.
It is self-fertile and does not need a pollination partner

Tree arrived quickly via courier and was carefully packaged to protect it in transit. It was in good condition (bare root) was planted following the helpful guidance on the nursery website so I'm optimistic that it will root successfully and flower in the coming season - time will tell

Couldn't ask for more
Bought this tree form my back garden. Came nicely packed. I live in Belfast and it arrived next. Which you don't get often very pleased with the product. I would highly recommend.
Bit early to tell!
Bought to replace an ordinary Stella that had grown and grown way to big for its position and for netting; am hoping this will be more manageable. Arrived very quickly (I was expecting a week or two) so had to fell the old tree quick. Then it got really cold, so I hope its survived a few days of being heeled into the potato bed! Plan to plant in the final place this weekend and see what happens in a couple of years! Remind me then and I'll do a propper review!
(Packing and delivery were good)
